What is UDOIT Advantage Accessibility Assistant?
UDOIT (Universal
                    Design Online Content
                    Inspection Tool) is a
                module-level accessibility checker
                designed to raise awareness of
                common
                accessibility issues and to help
                educators in improving the
                accessibility of their Canvas
modules. UDOIT scans Canvas modules to
                identify
these accessibility issues and
                provides resources and options for
                fixing these
                issues from within the UDOIT
                interface.
UDOIT scans for common accessibility
issues based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) which is
the standard for accessible digital content and provides results as a list of
errors and suggestions:
- Errors – issues based on the WCAG 2.1, would most likely cause issues for a user
- Suggestions – changes that can improve the learning
environment

Can I still use the Canvas Accessibility Checker?
Yes, UDOIT can act as a
                complement to the in-built Canvas
                Accessibility Checker which is
available within the Rich Content Editor. The Canvas Accessibility Checker scans content one page at a time and scans for 11 of the most common accessibility issues. UDOIT scans the entire module at once and looks to identify 21 of the most common accessibility issues.
