The calendar feature has many useful benefits to help the lecturer along. Your modules can be enabled/disabled in the Calendar view. A user can choose from either month, week, or agenda view. If you change the date in one section of the calendar it automatically updates all the others. Different icons represent different topics, e.g discussions, assignments or quizzes. 


Different events can be added, with a scheduler tool for students to choose a time that suits you both.



 

Your calendar is located on the left hand side of the screen in a black side menu. 

 


 

Other useful tips about your Canvas calendar:

  • Icons represent different tasks on your calendar e.g. Discussions, Assignments or Quiz
  • Assignments can be built directly from the Calendar
  • Calendar can be synced to another calendar.
  • Events can be added and taken away. 
  • Students can schedule in appointments available.
