The SIS ID of a module in Canvas is a unique identifier for that module. If you need to receive assistance from the TEL team (edtech@mtu.ie) on a module, you need to provide the SIS ID. 


To find your module SIS ID, complete the following steps:


  1. In the menu of your module, click Settings, as shown in the following image. Image Placeholder
  2. Copy the SIS ID from the SIS ID field. You can now reference the SIS ID when asking for assistance.
