The /undelete method is Canvas is helpful for restoring previously deleted Canvas content. It's helpful if you accidentally deleted something in your Canvas module.

Note: The /undelete method does not work 100% of the time. It depends on what content you deleted.

To recover module content in Canvas with /undelete, complete the following. 

  1. Open the Home page of your module.
  2. In your browser address bar, type /undelete at the end of the URL. It will look something like https://cit.instructure.com/courses/12345/undelete.
  3. Press the Enter key. The Restore deleted items page displays.
  4. Click Restore beside any piece of content that you want to bring back. The piece of content returns to the module.
