Some Canvas users who are
        teaching languages have identified an
        issue when text is added to pages in
        Canvas with a mix of languages. For
        instance, if you wrote an introductory
        sentence in French and then continued in
        English below it. Immersive Reader cannot
        distinguish the change in language and
        often reads the paragraph in English with
        a French accent
The workaround for this is to
    include the language tag in the HTML content
    to help Immersive Reader to distinguish
    between the two languages. The language tag
    identifies the language to be used for the
    sentence or paragraph that follows. E.g.
    "lang=en" for English or "lang=fr" for French. 
Click the icon underneath the text
    editor to open the HTML view of the page.
    Insert the lang tags, as shown below, where
    necessary in the text.
