In addition to accessing Linkedin Learning content for your own training and edification, you can also add Linkedin Learning courses to your modules in Canvas




1. If you have not yet done so, claim your MTU Linkedin Learning account via Canvas (guidelines here).



2. Email lil@mtu.ie to request that Linkedin Learning be enabled for specific modules in Canvas.
  • Please provide the module Code and CRN (e.g. AEID2081_3007)


3. Once Linkedin Leaning has been enabled for this module, you can add Linkedin Learning in any spaces which uses the Rich Content Editor

4. In the Rich Content Editor, select the icon with a "plug". From there, select the option for Linkedin Learning from the drop-down

5. Identify the Linkedin Learning content you wish to add to your Canvas Module.

7. Save and publish the page, announcement, assignment which you have added the Linkedin Learning content to.



8. Students will be required to claim their MTU Linkedin Learning student account to access the content you have added.
  • Students can do so by following the guidelines here
  • Alternatively, if students have not yet claimed their Linkedin Learning account, they will be prompted to create one when accessing the content you have added to your module (the guidelines in the above remain much the same).
