If a student hands in their
assignment twice under
2 different email or
user accounts, this
can result in a
submission being
reported against the
previous version of
itself. This has lead
to a high similarity
report.
Sometimes
a MTU student might be in
need of re-uploading or
handing in their
assignment again. If a
participant hands in their
assignment twice under 2
different email or user
accounts,, this can result
in a submission being
reported against the
previous version of
itself. In many cases this
can lead to high
similarity reports, where
it has flagged almost
entire documents as being
100% similar to another
report.
In cases such as
these, however, Ouriginal
is able to identify such a
situation as a "Conflict
Copy".

With this option from
the main page in the Ouriginal
Report, you can turn off the
conflicting copy to omit the
previous
submission.
It is also
possible to adjust the sources
which the similarity report
draws
upon.
