Important note: Please do not set your @MTU email address as the default email address on your Canvas account as this can lead to issues with both Canvas and your ability to access Zoom from Canvas. 

To add your MTU email address to your Canvas profile, complete the following steps.

  1. In Global Navigation in Canvas, click Account.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Under ways to contact, click + Email address.
  4. Enter your MTU email address in the Email address field.
  5. Click Register email.
  6. Click Ok. Thanks.
  7. Open your MTU email account and wait for the email from Canvas. 
  8. Click Click here to confirm this registration in the email from Canvas. Registration is now confirmed and MTU email is linked to your profile
